Malaysian synth pop band babychair has decided to make their first visit to Japan in two years


Malaysian synth pop band Babychair will be performing in Japan at Tsukimiru Kimisof, Aoyama, Tokyo on Monday, June 30th.

Babychair was formed during the COVID-19 pandemic and released their first album, Summertime, in 2021, without much opportunity to perform live performances. The film was highly praised by young people from the Chinese region, and even led to a tour of major Asian cities. Last year, he also attracted attention for his collaboration with Taiwanese R&B/jazz singer Whyte (?te).

Their signature features of their chilled, floating sound and eye-catching lo-fi artwork are an indication of their stance that all creators should be free to imagine and create just like babies.

This is the first time in about two years since their Asian showcase festival “BiKN” and performances at Shibuya 7th floor in Tokyo, this year will feature HALLEY as guests and Nags as opening acts. Tickets are now on sale from Peatix.

It has also been decided that the second press for the album “Summertime” LP.
