It has been announced that rapper Young Yujiro will release his new single, “Choice (Feat. BES)” on Saturday, May 31st.
Young Yujiro has launched Osaka-based HIBRID ENTERTAINMENT and is engaged in a wide range of activities not only as a rapper/prodist, but also as a video director, recording and mix engineer. This is the pre-single single from the new album “in no time,” scheduled to be released on Saturday, June 7th. It is said that this song depicts the reality of those who have been at the forefront of their lives, literally with the theme of “choice.”
The artwork features two dice sinking in blue sand, and while still in a somewhat cosmic and tranquil beauty, it symbolizes the weight of destiny and decisions that cannot be escaped. The track was created by DJ SCRATCH NICE, who produces all the songs in the album. The somewhat introspective and heavy beat shaped the “quiet tension” that is the core of this song.
Young Yujiro says of the album, “When I thought about which song to be a single after all the songs on the album were completed, this was the first thing that came to mind.” The heavy feel that BES gives the lyrics and vibes, and the detailed structure that intersects sound and words, tightens the whole story. BES’ guest performance was realized through a desire to admire him. Young Yujiro has performed with SCARS’ SEEDA and bay4k in the past, and has continued to hope that he will “one day with BES.” After many discussions with SCRATCH NICE, he was convinced that “BES is the only one for this song,” and he came to the offer.
