HOME released their new single, “some candy talk” today, Wednesday, May 28th.
This is an ambitious work that shows an euphoric approach to electronic dance music. The lyrics, which vocalist Seigetsu writes about his interactions with his late grandmother while he is hospitalized, are humorous yet cool, and the sound is perfected as a dance track with dynamic developments.
On Wednesday, June 18th, “HOME EP3,” the third and final installment in the EP series, will be released. Suitable for the final installment of the series, this is the most challenging and progressive work in HOME’s history, and while following the style of work so far, it has been an ambitious work that opens up new horizons.
In addition, in conjunction with the streaming of “HOME EP3”, CDs of three EP series (HOME EP, HOME EP2, and HOME EP3) that have been sold exclusively at live venues and artist e-commerce sites up until now will begin distribution at record shops nationwide from Wednesday, July 2nd. The distribution board comes with a bonus sticker.
In addition, in July, the solo tour “HOME PARTY’25 SUMMER” will be held to commemorate the completion of the EP series. We will tour three cities: Osaka ANIMA on Friday, July 11th, Nagoya Live & Lounge Vio on Sunday, July 13th, and Tokyo WWW X on Tuesday, July 15th. This tour is expected to incorporate new attempts in addition to the general content of the EP series. On the previous tour, Tokyo performances were sold out, and tickets are expected to be sold out this time too.
