Elephant Gym has released his live recording, “Live in THE WORLD -South America-” today, Thursday, May 29th.
Last year, Elephant Gym visited Japan three times, including a Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka tour, including a sold-out performance at Spotify Spotify O-EAST, as well as appearing in “SYNCHRONICITY’24” and “Asagiri JAM”, as well as a successful world tour of 60 cities in 23 countries. A project has recently begun to carefully select and release live recordings from performances around the world.
This first album was released, and contains two songs from the Santiago performance in Chile: Underwater and Finger. The world tour was said to have brought out rich performance expressions from all over the world, including North and Latin America, Europe, Asia, Oceania, and literally the excitement and reaction of diverse audiences. They plan to release live audio sources that allow you to experience the unique atmosphere and sound image of various regions every two months. Some of the members themselves are creating the mixing while learning to do so.
They also plan to release their first video work from this fall onwards. I’d like to wait for more news too.
