Rap unit MGF restarts new song “Scribing” tonight, released for the first time in about three and a half years

The three-member rap unit MGF has been restarted. The new single “Scribing,” which marks the first time in about three and a half years, will be released on Saturday, May 31st.

MGF released Real Estate in 2019 and the sequel, Landlord, in 2021, on its own label. The two films also attracted attention as the participation of many notable players such as mabanua, EVISBEATS, Kan Sano and Shin Sakiura.

“Scribing,” which will be released by his former club, ROSE RECORDS, is a pre-single from the album that is currently under production. It is said to be a minimalist and cool song, with KSK and Sigemaru’s verses running smoothly through the ambience-filled sound image as if to say “it’s been a while.”

Since the release of “Landlord”, each member has been working on solo activities, and Sigemaru has released two albums under his own name. KSK has also produced and released numerous works under the solo name Keisuke Saito and the unit Osteoleuco. MGF took back the experience and skills he had cultivated there and started as a unit again. I would like to keep an eye on future developments.
