XG releases MV for new song “WOKE UP” with science fiction movie-like story and visuals

The music video for XG’s new single “WOKE UP,” released today, Tuesday, May 21st, has been released.

This is the band’s 5th single, and it combines a unique track with exotic tones added to the 808 bass, and the unique rap performances of all the members. The MV features XG members dressed as wolves, each breaking down stereotypes and frames in their own way. The content is to announce the birth of the new XG and its transcendent existence. The story and visuals are reminiscent of a science fiction movie, and the visuals are both mysterious and awe-inspiring, making it an impressive work.

XG will hold his first world tour “XG 1st WORLD TOUR “The first HOWL”” on May 18th (Sat) and 19th (Sun) at Osaka Castle Hall. “XG 1st WORLD TOUR “The first HOWL” Landing at Yokohama” is scheduled to be held this week on the 25th (Saturday) and 26th (Sunday) at K Arena Yokohama in Kanagawa, followed by stops in Seoul, South Korea, and Taiwan.・Performances will be held in Taipei, Singapore, Manila (Philippines), Bangkok (Thailand), and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia).
