FALLING ASLEEP releases new song “DIE OR RIDE” for the first time in a year

Tokyo-based four-piece band FALLING ASLEEP released their new single “DIE OR RIDE” on May 20th (Monday).

FALLING ASLEEP transcends various boundaries such as rock, metal, and electro, and develops activities that are not bound by genre or style. This is the first new song in about a year, and producer Hiroki (Gt.) composed a sound that is influenced by the four members’ underlying influences. This work has a more detailed alternative approach than the previous work, and adds addictiveness to the cinematic world view that FALLING ASLEEP is good at. The lyrics, performed by Vinny (Vo.), directly express the sense of confinement of living in a chaotic society and the fragility of life as it is consumed day by day. It brings sadness and heat to the song.

On Saturday, May 25th, the event “INNER CITY Vol.3” by FALLING ASLEEP and LIFE is SAMPLING will be held at Shibuya Club Asia in Tokyo. This year’s third event will be the first performance of FALLING ASLEEP’s new song “DIE OR RIDE,” and the main stage lineup will include PETZ (YENTOWN, MONYPETZJNKMN), TYOSiN, and Otus. It looks like it will be a night that embodies the mix of various cultures.
