Fujii Kaze releases new album "Prema" for the first time in three years, pre-release single "Hachikō"

Fujii Kaze has announced that he will release his new album “Prema” on Friday, September 5th. In addition, the pre-single single “Hachikō” was streamed today, Friday, June 13th.

Fujii Kaze also made a big presence at the recent “MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2025”. This is the first time the album has been released in about three years since their second album, “LOVE ALL SERVE ALL,” in 2022. This third album is said to be a work with all English lyrics.

The regular CD version contains a total of 9 songs. A booklet and liner notes with translation and explanation will be included, and the paper jacket is made into a three-fold soft pack.
The first limited edition includes DISC 2 as DISC 2, “Pre: Prema,” which includes six songs, including “Fulling”, “Flowers”, and “Feelin’Go(o)d”, which have been released so far since the release of the previous album “LOVE ALL SERVE ALL”, and the unreleased song “It’s Alright”. It also comes with an original double-sided poster.

The LP comes with a double-page jacket and a set of one colored vinyl LP, making it a work that can be enjoyed in a different way than a CD, and this is a lottery sale.

The music video for the pre-sing single “Hachikō” was created by MESS, who has previously directed many of Fujii Kaze’s works. Fujii Kaze commented on the production process for the song as follows:

The trigger was a bit of a playfulness.
In April 2022, during a collite session in LA, Tobias Jesso, Jr. suggested that I try a song with Japanese.
He said, “What is the name of that dog in Shibuya?”
I was like, “What… Hachiko?”
And producer Sir Nolan made the beat on the spot.
A few years later, I watched the movie “The Tale of Hachiko” because I wanted to complete the song.
I sang the melody and lyrics that came down immediately afterwards to the beat.
I’ve never written a song out of beat, so it was a whole new experience.
In the end, he worked on further refinement along with producer 250 (Iogon).
Hachiko, the loyal dog, has been waiting for her deceased owner for 10 years and is finally able to meet her in heaven.
This song is filled with respect for loyalty, and it seems to be the fans who are patiently waiting for my third album.
