Foi releases new song “Fuzzy Boy” depicts quiet resolve “Let’s go of ambiguous love”

Foi released his new single, “Fuzzy Boy” today, Friday, June 13th.

SSW Foi, who has roots in Japan and China, has attracted attention for his activities as CHIANZ, a band formed with eill and others. This is a song that depicts the quiet and delicate emotions of the moment you decide to end your love. The calm track is filled with a small but sure-fire will that ends a vague, blurred romantic relationship.

The instrument composition is deliberately kept to a minimalist level, and in addition, the tone and texture of the voice are carefully crafted. This texture, which Foi himself describes as a “disappointing atmosphere,” symbolizes the “dignified strength in the quiet sadness” that wafts out when he ends a love story. The title “Fuzzy Boy” contains the meaning of “letting go of an unclear love” and leaves a blank space that listeners can enjoy while overlapping with their own past and memories.

A short music video has also been released on his social media. He deliberately avoids big acting and developments, expressing the “silence of the moment when you finish your love.” Foi himself appears in the film, and through his acting, focusing on gaze, breathing, and how he moves his mind, which cannot be spoken in words.

[Foi Comment]

I wanted to write a song that shows the heart-clining scenes flowing through the calm tune of music.
It takes courage to make up for an ambiguous relationship, but I think that by properly ending it, you can sometimes move forward.
I would be happy if such a small resolve could resonate with someone else.
