Rapper/Fashion DesignerMÖSHIand producerGimgigamMöshigigam, a dance music unit by the group, released their first single, “BEATNIK BOYS” today, Wednesday, June 18th.
MÖSHI has been releasing many releases from Wau, and Gimgigam has worked on works by many artists, including xiangyu, showmore, and Akko Gorilla. The first single of this project, “BEATNIK BOYS,” which is a collaboration between the two, is a dance tune that features percussive beats, grooved and funky bass, and offensive rhythmic synths.
The song, which was born during their first studio session when the two met, features the message “Let’s put all the ties in front of us in the corner and dance in our favorite clothes in a free world.” The title “BEATNIK” refers to counter culture from the 1950s.
