A new collaboration single “SKULL GAL” between DÉ DÉ MOUSE and MON/KU was released today, Wednesday, June 25th.
In recent years, DÉ DÉ MOUSE has co-written various artists and creators, across genres and scenes. This is the second collaboration with producer MON/KU, who is known for participating in the anime “Kiju No. 8” and also for collaborating with various artists since “Awful” released last summer.
A joking title that resonates with the beautiful decadence of the previous work, this work features ominous chords, an acid bass that resembles a giant snake crawling across the surface, four-star UK techno full-length, a horror-like DJ toasting cut up and modulated, and a huge, cracking breakbeat that looks like a club floor recording with an old digital camera.
This is a collaboration between DÉ DÉ MOUSE and MON/KU, who are full of gals, combined with pastel and low-poly footage that can be seen from the title, artwork and footage.
