okkaaa releases new song “(Gray) Youth” that deals with “youth” & releases MV

okkaaa will release their new single “(Gray) Seishun” today, May 22nd (Wednesday). A music video was also released at the same time.

This work, released two months in a row following the previous work “CALL MY NAME”, has a hip hop x indie pop beat as the main focus in the first half, and an atmospheric left field beat influenced by electronics and new age in the second half. It is a sweet and sensitive indie mellow pop song in okkaaa’s style.

The music video was also directed by the artist himself.

Last summer, I watched the sea turn gray and I was reminded of that scene. Is it the pale-colored nostalgia that makes me feel that way, or does a world with no boundaries fit in with it, or is it a crossover of a powerless and lethargic landscape that feels like there’s nothing to do, even though it’s unwilling? We have taken the liberty of presenting a long-form edit of a world that looks like it could break if the slightest force is applied. Please enjoy it.
