THREE1989 announces release of new album “2089” for the first time in four years

It has been announced that THREE1989 will release their new album, “2089” (pronounced by Knee Zero Hachikyu) on Wednesday, July 2nd.

This album, which marks the first album in four years, was named “2089” with the intention of making it a lasting album 100 years after the members’ birth year, “1989.” The series consists of nine songs packed with the challenges of THREE1989, including “Sweet Sweet,” featuring Toki Asako, a cover of the classic song “Down Town,” produced by Tokimeki Records, and songs produced by ESME MORI and SUKISHA.

As a new recording, it will include “Life Taxi,” which was used in the commercial and was partially released, and “Have a Nice Cry!”, a dance pop song that affirms crying, which was newly written as the lead song for the album.
