It has been announced that Lunv Loyal will release his new EP, “Prrrrrrrr” on Wednesday, July 2nd.
In 2024, rapper Lunv Loyal is a native of Tsuchizaki Port in Akita, who released two films, “Existence” and “Air Life” on Universal Music, and also appeared at one of Japan’s largest hip-hop festivals, “POP YOURS” and “THE HOPE.” In May, they also released their single “Big Step (feat. YTG, Deech & Yvngboi P)” and also attracted attention for their performance on “03-Performance.”
The title of this work, “Prrrrrrrr,” is said to contain the meaning of “call” from Lunv Loyal to the scene and his comrades. In an age of ever-changing changes, this work is said to be packed with changes in the environment, emotions, and expressions of their own wishes, as seen from the streets.
The song contains eight songs, including “8822,” which is a tune of “Matsuri Trap,” using the bamboo flute from Minato Hayashi, which is performed at the Tsuchizaki Port Hikiyama Festival in his hometown of Akita, the collaboration song “Human (featt. DNE)” produced in a studio in Fukuoka, featuring rapper DNE from his hometown, and a message song “Conflict is the essence,” which depicts the feelings and questions he has had in the wars and street-based conflicts that continue all over the world.
In addition, “I ain’t sober,” which depicts emotional fluctuations and conflicts, is also scheduled to be released as a music video. Advance reservations have now started on Apple Music and Spotify, ahead of the release.
