It has been announced that YAMORI will release their new single, “Kakurembo (feat. Shin Sakiura)” on Wednesday, July 9th.
YAMORI, a beatbox duo with Jonh-T, was the first Japanese person to win the Beatbox World Championship Grand Beatbox Battle 2024 last year, and attracted attention in May this year for his appearance on TV Asahi’s Music Station.
This is the third collaboration with guitarist/producer Shin Sakiura. As symbolized by the passage “What I want to find is your true feelings,” this love song is a quietly peering in the kindness behind it, looking at the “not being able to understand” and “misunderstanding” with others. The soft yet core singing voice of YAMORI and delicate, warm arrangements by Shin Sakiura have intersected, making this a song that gently oozes into the listener’s hearts.
YAMORI commented on the film as follows: “I would like you to think about the “behind the scenes” of the people you love right now, or the people you once passed by.”
