Kim Oki’s performance in Japan was suddenly decided in July.
Kim Oki is a saxophonist who is active in the Korean jazz scene. This is the first time this Japan tour since his first Japan tour in March last year, when he visited five cities, will be the second consecutive night in Tsukimiru-kunsif in Aoyama, Tokyo on Monday, July 28th, and in Daikanyama, Tokyo on Tuesday, July 29th, when the show is clear, beans are thrown in the sky. Last year, they were performing in Japan with a trio formed under the name Kim Oki Saturn Ballad, but this time they will be performing a special band set of six.
Kim Oki has been highly praised for many works, including winning the “Best Jazz & Crossover Album” at the Korean Music Awards in 2020. His latest album, “Hip Hop Retreat,” released in March this year, also attracted attention for his collaborations with many musicians, including Orisaka Yuta and Balming Tiger’s Omega Sapien.
