Thai rapper MILLI has released his new album, “HEAVYWEIGHT” today, Friday, July 11th.
MILLI is a leading Thai rapper known for being the first Thai solo artist to appear in Coachella. This is the second full album, and it embodies the growth and determination of his artist, just like a “heavyweight” boxer. It’s more than ever before about content, emotion, beat and sharp and powerful rap.
The film also features collaborations with Awich, the new school leaders (ATARASHII GAKKO!), and the hotly talked about dance team Avantgardey.
In collaboration with the new school leaders, “ARMSTRONG” combines two cultural symbols: the traditional Thai goddess of good fortune, Nan Kwak, and the Japanese “beckoning cat.” Along with an energetic beat, the song is filled with MILLI and the four members.
Additionally, his co-starring song with Awich, “JAA EHH (peekaboo)” is a track that candidly tells his story with the theme of “MILLI that appears wherever you are.” She depicts her career as a global stage, overcoming criticism, including Fashion Week, large advertising, and numerous music awards, and Awich’s cool, aggressive raps are engaging in flames.
Avant Galdi, who captivates the world with her bob hair, uniforms and unique dance, is choreographed for the music video for the album’s opening song, “SICK WITH IT.” MILLI himself came to Japan to film this video, and it was a truly “sharp video that will make you speechless.”

This album, “HEAVYWEIGHT,” is packed with all the emotions and stories I’ve experienced in my life. I think it’s truly a work of art, with a mix of many different aspects. I am truly delighted to see Awich, all the new school leaders, and the most talented Avangjardie, taking part in the event.
Like an atom-grade boxer, I think I’ve gradually gained experience and overcome many challenges, and finally reached the “heavyweight” artist. This album is an important piece filled with everything I have.
