Mochizuki Kiichi releases his first album "All for the Light" Takai Mibuki, Yukomi Yoshii and others participate

Tokyo-born musician/SSW Mochizuki Kiichi released his first album, “All for Light” today, Wednesday, July 16th.

This album contains 11 songs that combine folk, alternative, and indie pop, including the previous singles “Recession” and “Associated with the Illusion.” SSW’s Takai Mibuki will take part in the guest performance of “Parks.” In addition, Yoshii Daiki, guitarist for Astral Communications, also participated in “Towards the Dim White Voice.”

In addition, on Sunday, September 21st, a solo live concert will be held at Shibuya WWW, Tokyo to commemorate the release of the album. They will be performing a four-piece band set featuring Gt. Akiyoshi Yuki (yeti let you notice / support: Kitani Tatsuya), Ba. Konno Sohei (supported by Shin Rhythm, Aoi Yuto), and Dr. Takahashi Naoki (5ted by Hino Kosho / support: Sakiyama Soshi, Ohashi Trio). Takai Mibuki will also appear as a guest artist and TOMMY (BOY) will appear as an opening DJ.

We are now releasing our first 1st AL album, “All for the Light.” He recalls that he was able to create a work that seemed to grasp his own outline for the first time. The title “All for Light” was born from the feeling that no matter how fragile or how hurtful it may be, everything moves in search of light.
The tracks feature 11 stories, from quiet folk research to alternative waves. In “U” and “Parks (feat. Takai Suibuki)” we depict fragments of the warmth and memories of people close to us, while in “Recession” and “Just with the Illusion”, we depict the suffocating nature of modern times, the way people clench their fists, and the title song “All for the Light” we would especially like to listen to, sincerely portrays the longing for light that is far away. In addition, Shibuya WWW, a solo performance to commemorate the release, is a venue that has been a passionate event since the start of their activities, and it has a special weight. I want people to witness the performances they have now in the best environment, and I would be happy if I could share with you the moment when this album is breathing new life again by playing the band.
