Brkfstblend’s first album, “brkfstblend,” released in February this year, has been released on LP. It will be released on Wednesday, October 22nd, with a set of two.
brkfstblend is a three-member band consisting of Michael Kaneko, Keity and Kasuya Tetsuji. He has also been confirmed to appear in “FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL’25” this month.
Part of the first album, “brkfstblend,” was recorded in Bangkok, Thailand, and the emotions they felt locally had a major impact on the overall atmosphere. In addition to classic songs at live shows, the album also includes original songs such as “Ladyland,” which reminds me of the old AOR of the past, “Odisea a la Quinta Dimensión, 1979,” the first instrumental song for brkfstblend, “Nam Keng,” which fully incorporates Thai groove, and the spacey disco song “space and time,” which gives off a sense of floating feel, as well as a total of 11 songs, including a cover of Al Green’s masterpiece “Let’s Stay Together.”
In addition, with the release of the record, the Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka tour “Groove Revival Tour 2025” has also been decided to be held. The venue will be held at three locations: WWW in Tokyo on Wednesday, October 15th, TOKUZO in Aichi on Friday, and CONPASS in Osaka on Saturday, October 18th, and the venue will be held at the Tokyo performance with Thai band H3F as guests. The LP is scheduled to be sold in advance at the tour venue. Tickets are now open for advance orders.
