Shinkawa Riko’s solo project Yusari released her first remix, “Morning Seishun (electronic),” which was co-produced with Watanuki Yuki, today, Wednesday, July 23rd.
“Morning Seishun” is a song from Yusari’s mini-album “Hotori,” released in 2024. This song is memorable with its texture and lyrics reminiscent of a winter morning, and the beautiful lines of a gut guitar and singing voice. In this remix, these audio is chopped up freely, resulting in a multifaceted, sharp, aggressive, and catchy track made by Watanuki Yuki.
Although Shinkawa’s vocalizations, which make full use of autotune, were frequently performed live, this is the first time he has been made into a sound source. Also check out Watanuki Yuki’s new album “After the Hikari,” released in June this year, and the full album “Hoshio wo Tsugujin,” which was recorded in the band’s band arrangement as Yusari (ensemble) released in November last year.

When I was invited to a release party in Snow Country, I wanted to do something interesting and had Watanuki Yuki make a track, and I had Tsubaki 3rd season play drums and I started Yusari (electronic) where I sing.
Based on the truck I created at the time, Watanuki was subjected to magical modifications, and the morning pursuit (electronic) was created.
A song dedicated to winter mornings runs around on summer nights at a high tempo. Please laugh!

The original song, “Morning Calendar,” was produced in a short period of darkness on a winter morning.
According to the self-liner notes at the time of release,
“It’s lighter than summer, lighter, cooler, clearer air, the angle of sunlight, the flow of its progress. The smell of dawn. The movement of the mind created by the people and the movement of the mind. The movement of the body is flowing together like minerals, and the outside of the body is like water. With this in mind, I first wrote the lyrics. I created a phrase for a classical guitar and put a song on it. And then I increased the sound in my mind, and recorded the feeling of the scenery outside the lyrics as if to wrap around. / Lyrics and arrangements I was encouraged by the kind of quiet but not silent, and honest silent that made me want to describe it. It was also attractive to me, as it was a beautiful presence and sense of distance that felt good about my insides and outside, while I felt good or depressed. I wanted to talk to other people more, and to say that I knew this view, and hope that a few more people would come into contact with me.

This song I handed over to Watanuki and on a midsummer night, it was a straight, hot, boiling air creaking. The mineral-like textures transformed into laser beams, and instead of quietly talking to the other person’s eyes, they were able to grab your clothes while making a fuss. Please laugh.
