YonYon has announced details of his first album, “Grace,” which is given a part of his real name as the album name. In addition, their pre-single single “Busy Girl” was streamed today, Wednesday, July 23rd.
In recent years, YonYon is a multi-artist who has traveled both domestically and internationally, has also participated in the vocals of Gotch (ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION)’s “Stateless,” translated and vocal direction for the popular song “THE GONLAN SONG -Japanese ver.-” by Korean artists SUMIN & Slom, and appeared at the popular Taiwanese music festival “Wonjin Festival.”
“Busy Girl” is a comical song that captures the daily life of YonYon, who is well known as a “always busy woman.” The jersey club-style danceable beats by producer AGO, combined with vocal work that crosses Japanese, Korean and English flatly, and playful rap, bringing together an anthem for busy modern people.
Since the start of 2025, YonYon has released three singles in a row: “Old Friends feat. SIRUP, Shin Sakiura”, “U”, and “Moonlight Cruising feat. KIRINJI”. These songs show the direction of the album “Grace” and also reflect the musical challenges and the changes and growth he has inside, making them the beginning of a new chapter for YonYon.
The album “Grace” will be released on Wednesday, August 6th. Advance reservations have also started today. As the title suggests, this album is made with the desire to “return back to you through music,” and is produced while facing his own roots, being born and raised in Japan. It is said that messages of love and gratitude resonate beyond national and cultural barriers are carefully depicted throughout the entire work.
The album contains a total of 14 songs, including 12 songs created with up-and-coming producers from both Japan and abroad, plus two remixes. The guest performances include a wide range of people, including KIRINJI, SIRUP, ARIWA (ASOUND), SUMIN from Korea, and his label mate PEAVIS. The sound production included ☆Taku Takahashi (m-flo), Chaki Zulu, grooveman Spot, and Slom and Daul from Korea. The artwork was done by Soyo, a new Korean creator who works on artwork for SUMIN & Slom, Hoody, and L-like.
Furthermore, on Sunday, September 7th, a release party for the album “Grace” will be held at Shimokitazawa ADRIFT in Tokyo in collaboration with the three-man project “ENTRANCE” by multi-producing collective Re. Tickets are currently on sale.
