GOUU released their new single, “555 Remix feat. T-STONE” today, Friday, July 25th.
GOUU is a new rapper from Ehime who also attracted attention for winning an audition for THE HOPE, one of Japan’s largest hip-hop festivals last year. “555” is a song released last January. The song features a heavy beat from DJ/producer Yohji Igarashi, and GOUU’s life-size, low-stance, yet humorous phrases, while the hook, where he can tell you just by listening to his name and hometown, is a lively song that will make you excited.
In this remix, T-STONE is a rapper from Shikoku and Tokushima prefectures, and is also a guest performance in the solo show at WWW, Tokyo and Shibuya.

GOUU will also release its first EP, “ProtoTape,” on Friday, August 1st. The EP includes a total of six songs, including “555 Remix feat. T-STONE,” as well as “Mandarin,” which was released last November. The sound production was also in charge of Yohji Igarashi, who has been writing GOUU’s songs since his debut.
