PinkPantheress, who will be coming to Japan for the first time at Summer Sonic, releases new song “Turn it up”

Pink Pantheress released their new single “Turn it up” today, Friday, May 24th.

PinkPantheress created a big buzz with their first album “Heaven knows” released last year and “Boy’s a liar Pt.2” with Ice Spice, which was also included in the album. This song was written, composed, and produced by PinkPantheress herself. The melody was inspired by the hit “Dreaming of you” released in 1995 by the late Mexican-American singer Selena, and the song sings about the fate of the protagonist’s love, with sweet vocals over a soft, pulsating beat.

He commented about the album: “This is my first release of 2024, so I’m super excited to share this song with everyone.”

PinkPantheress is scheduled to perform in Japan for the first time at SUMMER SONIC this summer.
