It has been announced that Luv, a five-member band from Kansai, will release their new single, “Symphomaniac to the Brain” on Wednesday, August 6th.
All five performances of the first nationwide tour, “Already Cruisin’,” held in March this year, were sold out on the same day. The following Luv has sold out both performances of the Tokyo-Han Quattro Tour “Already Movin’,” and has also made a strong presence at large festivals around the country.
This song was also performed at the CLUB QUATTRO performance in Tokyo and Osaka that was held the other day. It is said that this dance tune features an upper, funk sound that shook the audience on the floor despite it being the first to be shown.
The lyrics are memorable with catchy words such as “I want to look for a spell” and “I’m going to get a fucking kiss,” and are unique in Hiyn (Vo., Gt.), which mixes the feelings of being “jerking kissed” due to suspicions about her lover and the fantasy worldview that was inspired by a picture book. In terms of sound, this is the first time I’ve introduced wind instruments into my arrangements. MELRAW is taking part in the brass arrangement/recording.
In addition, the chorus of “Me, a spell to your brain” has started being pre-released with music stamps on TikTok and Instagram starting today.
