SugLawd Familiar releases interview footage of production camp and other activities

An interview video with Okinawa-based hip-hop crew SugLawd Familiar has been released.

SugLawd Familiar is a five-member group formed in Okinawa, consisting of four rappers, OHZKEY, Oichi, Vanity.K, and XF MENEW, plus DJ caster mild, all born in 2002. Last year, they attracted a lot of attention with the huge hit “LONGINESS REMIX,” a collaboration with fellow Okinawans Awich and CHICO CARLITO, and their appearance at Japan’s largest hip-hop festival, “POP YOURS.”

In March of this year, they released their long-awaited first EP “DAY TIME SNACK”. The album features MET as MTHA2, who is also attracting attention for their new hip-hop anthem “TOKYO KIDS”, and NARISK, who is based in Fukuoka and has written songs for many artists such as KOJOE, MuKuRo, and kiki vivi lily. In addition to new songs such as the lead track “Natural Buzz”, this EP is a comprehensive compilation of all of their past singles, including the aforementioned “Longiness” and “BOUNCE THE GARDEN”.

The interview footage follows them on a production camp and includes footage of them talking about the crew’s backgrounds, the characteristics of each member, and their outlook for the future.
