All five of andymori's original albums will be released on vinyl

All five of andymori’s original albums will be released on vinyl starting in August.

Formed in the fall of 2007, andymori is a three-piece band that has garnered high support for their many works and live performances, starting with their first EP “Andy and Rock and Bengal Tiger and Whiskey” released in October 2008. Although the band itself disbanded after their first solo performance at Nippon Budokan in October 2014, even now, 10 years later, there is no end to the bands and artists who openly declare their respect for andymori and their influence on them.

In addition, the song “Sugoi Hayasa” from the first album “andymori” (2009) became a viral hit this year, triggered by the reels of the official SNS account opened to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the CD debut at the end of 2023. It has been in the top 10 of the Billboard Japan chart “TikTok Weekly Top 20” for six consecutive weeks, and the total number of plays on TikTok has exceeded 300 million. Despite being a song from 15 years ago, it is currently creating a big buzz while attracting new listeners.

Although there have been many requests for analog records of andymori’s works since the beginning, this will be the first time that the four works other than the 3rd album will be released on analog records. All titles have been newly remastered in Japan and will be delivered with high quality sound quality cut by the world-renowned master Bernie Grundman. Each will be a limited edition, so don’t miss this opportunity.

In addition, member Sohei Oyamada released his second solo album “Toki wo Kakeru Melody” in January this year and has just finished a nationwide tour promoting the album. Hiroshi Fujiwara and Kenji Okayama are also continuing their active work, supporting various artists including Gin Nang BOYZ and performing solo. We would like to keep an eye on their future activities.
