Shōtaro Aoyama released his new single “Ding Dong feat. Dongurizu” today, Wednesday, June 5th.
Shōtaro Aoyama is known for participating in the project “NF” led by Sakanaction’s Ichiro Yamaguchi, and for running his own label “Hyōgu”. This song is themed around the fusion of dance music, electro and hip-hop, which was born in the late 2000s. Featuring Dongurizu, Mori’s sharp rap and Chomo’s melody overlap, creating a party track that intersects on a detailed track.
This album was produced after playing at festivals such as “FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL” and “SONIC MANIA,” and the sound was created with festival audiences in mind.
[Comment from Shōtaro Aoyama]
This is the third song I’ve produced with Dongurizu, and the songs always come from the power I feel while playing.
I create music based on a theme for each work, and this time the theme is late 2000s hip hop x dance electro.
We also produced the album with a sense of mixture, as Dongurizu freely moves between genres.
Various worlds are mixed together in one song, and I think it’s turned out to be a work that gives you a sense of liberation from chaos.
This song is very reliable at live shows as it really gets the crowd boiling.
