Today is “Sheep Day” Hitsuji Bungaku collaborates with “Shaun the Sheep” and covers the theme song

A collaboration between Hitsuji Kagaku and the British character Shaun the Sheep has been announced.

This collaboration was announced in honor of Sheep Day, which was recognized today, June 6th (Thursday). As part of this, Hitsuji Bungaku released a cover of the theme song to “Shaun the Sheep” called “Shaun the Sheep (Life’s a Treat) (English Cover)” today. The key visual was created by the popular illustrator,Yu FukagawaBe sure to check out the illustrations he has drawn featuring special Shaun and members of Hitsuji Bungaku, as well as Hitsuji-chan (the official character of Hitsuji Bungaku).

In addition, collaboration goods using this art will be released in advance at the “Shaun the Sheep Shop” that will open on ZOZOTOWN on Wednesday, June 26th. I wrote it hoping to bridge the gap between the innocence of Shaun the Sheep and the atmospheric worldview of Hitsuji Literature. The moment I heard the song, I realized that my fears were unfounded, but I would be happy if I could add color to the two worlds that intersect. The time I spent working with many professionals to create something was stimulating and fun.
