SOM4LI releases pre-release single “frozen” from their 2nd EP “chachacha” today

SOM4LI, a five-member indie rock band based in Tokyo, released their new single “frozen” today, Wednesday, June 5th.

This song was written and composed by Rio Shimamoto, who also plays guitar in Strip Joint. This dance tune was created to reach new heights for SOM4LI, who have been centered on indie rock up until now. The cold sound space gradually heats up towards the climax, making it feel as dynamic as if you were watching a movie.

In addition, the release of the second EP “chachacha” has been decided on June 19 (Wednesday). This song will be the lead single from the EP. “chachacha” is a diverse work that is typical of SOM4LI, pop but not straightforward, with a disturbing sense of incongruity. The cover design was done by member MAKO.
