LAUSBUB gained a lot of attention in 2021 with a live video of “Telefon” posted on social media. The two were high school students at the time, but have since expanded their activities with numerous releases and event appearances.
This long-awaited first album contains 10 songs, including the Sapporo PARCO New & Renewal campaign song “Michi-tono-Sogu” released last year and the theme song for the Sapporo International Art Festival 2024, “Dancer in the Snow.” It also includes a new recording of LAUSBUB’s signature song, “Telefon.”
In addition, the band will hold their first solo tour in four cities: Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, and Sapporo. VJ production by watakemi (tsuchifumazu), who has previously worked with them on the music videos for “The Catcher in the Dai” and “Dancer in the Snow”, will also be performed at all shows.
CD pre-orders for the album “ROMP” and official advance ticket sales for the solo tour began today, June 6th (Thursday) at 10pm.
