Sala releases collaborative song “Go Home” with Portuguese up-and-coming artist Kikomori

Singer Sala released the collaborative single “Go Home” with up-and-coming Portuguese artist Kikomori today, Friday, June 7th.

Last month, Sala released a collaborative song with Taiwanese artist LIU KOI, which became a hot topic, but this time she is collaborating with Kikomori, a multi-instrumentalist/producer based in Lisbon, Portugal. Kikomori has been fascinated by Studio Ghibli movies, Japanese video games, and anime since he was a child.

This song features a chill beat and the cool yet warm voices of Kikomori and Sala, making it a song that soaks in comfortably. It is a melancholic number that accompanies the feeling of loneliness that everyone has felt, such as feeling that no one appreciates you, or feeling like you can’t get out of a place with no opportunities, and the conflict of wondering if it’s better to accept the situation you are in, while thinking, “What if I don’t go home and just keep driving until dusk?”, as well as the frustration and sadness.
