The collaborative work “Dream Team EP” by Guchon, andrew, Carpainter and Seimei was released today, Friday, June 7th.
Guchon has released works from popular overseas labels such as Germany’s Chiwax, DJ Haus’s Hot Haus Recs, and Big Dope P’s Moveltraxx. This album features three songs that Guchon co-wrote with Andrew, Carpainter, and Seimei, the founders of TREKKIE TRAX.
The collaboration between the worldwide artist Guchon and the label is truly a dream team, and with “dance music” as the keyword, the EP reflects the commonalities and musical roots of Guchon and each member of TREKKIE TRAX in each song, including hard techno, funky techno, hard groove, and club tracks.
Guchon and Carpainter have previously collaborated on “Home Workout Trax” (2020) released by TREKKIE TRAX and “Tokyo Funk EP” released by SYSTEM RECORDS, but this is their first collaboration with andrew and Seimei.
Also, tomorrow, June 8th (Sat), a party hosted by TREKKIE TRAX will be held at the R Lounge in Shibuya, Tokyo. The party will be a Japan performance by Big Dope P, a producer who represents the European ghetto bass, juke and footwork scenes, and Guchon, andrew, Carpainter, and Seimei will also be performing.
