Madkosmos has released an official remix of the song “CRF” by COVAN, a rapper from DRC.

Kyoto-based producer Madkosmos has remixed the song “CRF” by rapper COVAN of DRC. It was released today, June 10th (Mon).

“CRF” is a track from COVAN’s first album “nayba” released in January this year. It is a song that expresses the daily struggles and the way he faces music, combining it with HONDA’s motorcycle “CRF”. This remix, which reconstructs the song with Madkosmos’ interpretation, is an 808, but develops a drone and ambient worldview reminiscent of Burial.

In addition, the Madkosmos-sponsored event “#MADWANT” will be held in Osaka, Nagoya, and Kyoto this weekend. This tour will feature TAKUMI (MIRRROR, aTTn) from Tokyo, but on the night in Nagoya on Friday the 14th, NEI, Liesbet, CONOMARK, and Ryo Kobayakawa from DRC will also be appearing, as well as an uncredited artist himself, who will also be taking the mic for this song.
