Barbara releases music video for "Run Run Run" from her first album, with QPLO as guest on Tokyo Records release

The music video for the track “Run Run Run” from Barbara’s first full album, “Vacation Disco,” which will be released on Wednesday, June 19th, has been released.

Barbara is a Kansai-based duo that has been gaining attention for their sound that is based on 80s electropop and 90s club music via disco, but also deeply linked to the current domestic and international indie scenes. The film was directed by video director Ryoma Matsumoto.

The first-come-first-served bonus for the album CD will be a postcard with a download code for the new song “Night Walk (demo ver)”. In addition, Tower Records Shibuya will be giving away limited logo badges as a first-come-first-served bonus.

QPLO will also be appearing as a guest at the release party for the album “Vacation Disco” to be held at Shimokitazawa LIVE HAUS in Tokyo on Saturday, July 20th. DJs will include TA-1 (KONCOS) and tanitomo8.
