Dancer/choreographer Yurinasia is holding a dance academy in Tokyo and is looking for members who want to become professionals.

YurinasiaThis summer, jABBKLAB instructors, including the head instructor, will be coming to Tokyo to open the first professional dance training school, “jABBKLAB Academy.”

The “jABBKLAB Academy” is looking for aspiring members who want to work as professionals and learn from and work with Yurinasia, who is active not only as a dancer but also as a choreographer in a variety of genres. In addition to jABBKLAB’s regular dance lessons, there will be practical training and lectures on choreography. Yurinasia, who has choreographed for many commercials for major companies, TV dramas, and music videos for popular artists, will teach the knowledge of a choreographer, how to respond to the desired choreography image, and how to help dancers appear in advertisements and music videos.

The lecturer will be Yurinasia, co-founder of jABBKLAB.ayumuguand jABBKLABcocoroyenwill serve as the director.

The program will run for three days from August 2 (Fri), 3 (Sat), and 4 (Sun), with all classes taking place in the afternoon. Applications are open until June 30 (Sun). As the class size is small, the participants will be selected by lottery at a later date.

Hello, this is yurinasia.
This time, we have decided to hold an academy in Tokyo, so that dancers who love yurinasia and jABBKLAB can learn our choreography techniques and dance.
We are recruiting “jABBKLAB Tokyo members.”
As long as you have dance experience, your career history and achievements are not important.
Thankfully, even though I am based in Fukuoka, I have had many opportunities to work in Tokyo in recent years, and I don’t feel any inconvenience traveling to and from Tokyo by myself.
However, when working on advertisements, movies, TV shows, or music videos, there are many situations where multiple dancers who can dance in the Tokyo area are required. For example, choreography support for celebrities, dummy dancers, stand-ins, and backup dancers for idol groups.
As you know, all of my students and jABBKLAB students are based in Fukuoka, so at present I am turning down such requests and usually outsourcing them to external production companies.
Ideally, I would like to create this with colleagues I can trust, and that is what many people would prefer, but the truth is that the situation is unavoidable, so I decided to create this opportunity.

We are looking for dancers to join jABBKLAB!
We can’t promise everyone who participates, but we think there will soon be an opportunity to ask you to work with us in some capacity.

You will be required to be flexible in any situation.
I hope to take this opportunity to share all the knowledge and technology that I and jABBKLAB have acquired!
It would be an invaluable joy for me if the dancers gathered here could one day become independent and find a career related to dance.
We welcome dancers who want to work with yurinasia, create a piece, steal their techniques, work in the field, become independent as a choreographer, perform, and create!
