Joint Beauty releases new song "Tokyo Friday Night" featuring Kana Hanazawa & Mori Calliope

It has been announced that Joint Beauty will release their new single “Tokyo Friday Night (feat. Hanazawa Kana & Mori Calliope)” on Wednesday, June 12th.

Joint Beauty is a producer and beatmaker who has released numerous works on the long-established Canadian label Urbnet Records and the prestigious OILWORKS led by Olive Oil, as well as the album “nell” (2022) which features tofubeats, FARMHOUSE, Tagaru, ZIN, Seira Kariya, maco marets, and others, and “Special Days” (2023) which features Fujii Takashi and Peanuts-kun.

This is the first release of 2024, and is a pre-release single from the new EP “YOLO Vol.1” scheduled to be released on Wednesday, June 26th.Hanazawa KanaHe is a VTuber artist who has gained support from both inside and outside of Japan, and has excellent rap skills.Mori CalliopeThe song is a fusion of Joint Beauty’s specialty UK garage beat, Kana Hanazawa’s expressive vocals and Mori Calliope’s skillful rap.

In addition, a music video directed by Shiori Abe will premiere on Friday, June 14th at 6:00 PM. It is an animated work produced with the participation of students from the Animation Design Seminar (Abe Seminar) of the Department of Information Expression at Nagoya Zokei University.

The EP “YOLO Vol.1” is scheduled to include four songs, including the aforementioned “Special Days (Fujii Takashi & Peanuts-kun),” and songs featuring SUSHIBOYS and Batten Shoujotai’s Yanagi Mimai.
