NORIKIYO’s new song “Satogatsuame”, which is currently in prison, will be released as a limited edition 7-inch single.

It has been decided that NORIKIYO, who has been in prison since June last year, will release his new song “Sogatsuame” as a 7-inch single on May 23rd (Thursday).

The beat for the new song “Satatsu Ame” is provided by KOYAN MUSIC, who is also a member of the rap group SD JUNKSTA to which NORIKIYO belongs. The artwork uses a picture drawn by NORIKIYO himself in prison, and is a drawing of his cell, where he currently lives, with a mechanical pencil. A record (and a new song) whose jacket is a picture drawn by a prisoner will be released while he is in prison.

The coupling track includes “THE GROWER’S CLUB ANTHEM,” which was a collaboration with I-DeA, the producer of NORIKIYO’s signature song “2FACE.” Why did you record this song together? “If you drop the needle on both sides of this record and look at the jacket, a seasoned fan will understand,” NORIKIYO is said to have said in the meeting room.
