4s4ki releases music video for "survival dAnce," a rearrangement of TRF's hit song with Yaffle

4s4ki released their new single “survival dAnce” today, June 12th (Wednesday). The music video was also released.

This song was launched in September 2023 and was a hot topic as the 2023 TV CM song for the smartphone game “Monster Hunter Now”, which is popular all over the world.YaffleThe song has been revived with a new arrangement, combining the power of the original song written and composed by Tetsuya Komuro, Yaffle’s sound approach that incorporates UK garage, and rap by 4s4ki.

Furthermore, since last Thursday, June 6th, the icons of 4s4ki’s social media accounts, official website and YouTube have been hijacked with an eerie logo, and a video page featuring this logo continuing to move was released. This was then changed to a video showing a shrine with countless charms pasted on it, causing a stir. It has now been revealed that the video page in question is actually the music video for this song.

The music video was produced by a reunion of the creative team that produced the “Monster Hunter Now” 2023 TV commercial. The creative director is Keiichi Motoyama, who has worked on numerous creative projects such as the “2018 Kohaku Uta Gassen Grand Opening” and “Pokémon Go Global Teaser,” and the director is Ryohei Shingu, who has worked on music videos for Namie Amuro’s “Hero” and Keyakizaka46’s “Ambivalent.” In addition, a powerful group of creators is lined up, including the popular makeup artist Hazuki on social media, and the popular choreographer SACO MAKITA, who is involved in the dance choreography.

Set in a shrine, 4s4ki establishes a fictional religion called “Eyebrow Sect.” The religion teaches that having flashy hair will bring salvation, and the story depicts a ritual in which the guru 4s4ki sings and his followers dance wildly.
