Doona, a five-member band formed in 2023, releases new song “Green Tips” today & music video

The five-member rock band Doona released their new single “Green Tips” today, Wednesday, June 12th. The music video was also released.

Formed in 2023, Doona has been gaining attention for its musicality rooted in black music and powerful live performances. When it was first formed, it was GENKI’s (Vo.) solo name, and the band began performing when SOTA (Gt.) and RYO (Ba.), who attended the same vocational school, joined as regular members. After that, RINTA (Key.) and ZACKY (Dr.), who attended a different vocational school, joined the band, forming the current lineup.

This song is a mix of urban chord work, mellow band sound and glossy vocals. It is a work that expresses the urban side of the band. Mastering was done by Kentaro Kimura (kimken studio).
