Ginger Root has announced that they will be holding a Japan tour in January next year, visiting five cities across the country: Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Hiroshima, and Fukuoka.
Ginger Root, whose appearance at Fuji Rock last year is still fresh in our memory, is a project by Cameron Lew, a multi-instrumentalist, producer, songwriter and visual artist from Southern California. He has collaborated with YeYe and HALFBY, directed CHAI’s music videos, and has been influenced by Japanese culture.
Recently, Ginger Root announced that they will be releasing their third album, “SHINBANGUMI” in September, and they have already confirmed that they will be coming to Japan for a concert. In addition, starting next week, Friday, June 21st, they will be holding one-day pop-up shops at Tower Records in the five cities where they will be performing in Japan. Not only will the pop-ups sell limited edition goods, but Ginger Root themselves will also be visiting each city on the day to hold autograph sessions and DJ sets. This will be a rare chance to meet the band in person.
