Michael Kaneko releases music video for “Daydreams,” the title track from his latest album

The music video for the title track from Michael Kaneko’s latest album, “Daydreams,” released in May, will premiere today at 9:00 p.m.

Starting with “Lovers,” which depicts parting with a loved one, followed by “Long Island Iced Tea,” which looks back on one’s life so far, and “Strangers In The Night,” which depicts an encounter with one’s soulmate, this song, which is the “final episode,” expresses Michael Kaneko’s view of the world of “Daydreams.”

The music video begins with Michael Kaneko standing alone in a blank white space, and the dancers and band members appear and disappear out of nowhere in a single shot that lasts 3 minutes and 42 seconds. In addition to the dancers from dip BATTLES, a professional dance team active in the world’s first professional dance league “D.LEAGUE” from Japan, the music video also features a star-studded band of supporting actors, including Yuya Saito, guitarist for yonawo, Keity (ex. LUCKY TAPES), bassist for brkfstblend, Ippei Sawamura, drummer for SANABAGUN., and Genki Ishida, a support member for many artists, mainly on sax and keyboard.
