Spada releases new song “Link UP!” produced by ascii

Rapper Spada released his new single “Link UP!” today, Monday, June 17th.

Spada is known as a member of Normcore Boyz and for releasing works under the name Gucci Prince & Spada. In 2022, he released his first EP, “Codatronca,” and last year appeared on Abema’s “Rap Star Birth 2023,” where he was selected as a finalist. In the same year, he released his second EP, “Bubble Tape,” and released a number of collaboration songs, including “On The Stage,” the song that KOSE 8ROCKS participated in in “D.LEAGUE 23-24.”

This work was produced by ascii, who has worked on works by Bonbero and Tade Dust. The song features a Detroit-style beat and Spada’s skillful rap. The following is a quote from the press release.

In central Tokyo, skyscrapers, subways, and the Metropolitan Expressway intersect in a multi-level fashion, and people are busy living their lives. While it is a place that everyone longs for, in reality it feels like a somewhat “cold city.” The people who live busy lives are always staring at their screens, not immersed in the reality in front of them, and there is a coldness that has lost their humanity. The countless buildings that stand as glittering landmarks also feel inorganic and cold, as homogenized lumps of concrete. This “refrigerated city” melts away with the passion of the person who is single-mindedly pursuing his dream with his friends.

Spada will be appearing at the hip-hop festival sponsored by Abema, which will be held at the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall in Chiba on Saturday, June 29th.“STARZ”He is also scheduled to appear in.
