NewJeans releases music video for latest song “Right Now” featuring characters from collaborations with The Powerpuff Girls and Takashi Murakami

The music video for NewJeans’ latest song, “Right Now,” has been released.

The music video is a surreal world that combines the members’ real appearances with animation elements, providing an interesting experience and stimulating the imagination. Both the story and the visuals have a “mysterious cuteness” that captivates the viewer. It depicts an episode that occurs when HANNI sends a message to a person she likes and waits for a reply.

Characters from “The Powerpuff Girls x NewJeans,” incorporating the personalities of the five members, and “Takashi Murakami x NewJeans” also make an appearance. The characters from The Powerpuff Girls set out in search of the elixir of love, and Takashi Murakami’s character, born from an unexpected error in the process, appear in the space where NewJeans is. The fast-paced screen direction and story, matching the fast beat, enhance the sense of immersion.

NewJeans will also be holding a large-scale fan meeting at Tokyo Dome over two days from June 26th (Wed) to 27th (Thu), and will be appearing on the Nippon Television Network’s“With MUSIC”They will be appearing on the show and will be performing “Right Now” for the first time on Japanese television.
