Haretokidoki’s new single “sakura wind” and EP “NEO-GEO-” by brinq will be released on CD on April 28th (Sunday) It has been decided that they will be released simultaneously.
Haretokidoki’s “Sakura Wind”, which was created with the theme of spring, is a danceable pop number that matches this time of year, inspired by the house scene of the 90’s to 00’s and the domestic music of Takako Matsu’s “Tomorrow, Spring Comes”. . The coupling song “YUNiSM EDIT” is a quote from a past project by brinq, and its composition is inspired by the late 00’s J-HOUSE scene at the time.
Brinq’s EP “NEO-GEO-“, which will be released at the same time, is the first new work under the same name in about five years. Guest vocalists include Antenna Girl, with whom we have collaborated for some time, Unico Takano (aka. mewm), who is also active as NECO ASOBI, a unit with uu (ex. TAOISM) from Local Visions, and up-and-coming singers & Contains a total of 5 songs featuring guest creators powaramiu and rea_chan. Brinq himself commented as follows. “While thinking about the overall tone and sense of detail in order to differentiate it from Haretokidoki, we created a content that can be enjoyed even from the previous work “Magical Brinq Tour” (2016).”
Both works will be sold in advance on the official website and at the doujin sale event “M3” held at the Tokyo Distribution Center. “Sakura Wind” is scheduled to be distributed today, April 24th (Wednesday), and “NEO-GEO-” is scheduled to be distributed on May 8th (Wednesday).
Furthermore, a double release event for the two works will be held on May 26th (Sunday) at MOGRA in Akihabara, Tokyo. Check them out as well.
