YNG JOE$ releases new EP “concretecatenaccio” with participation from CROWN-D, SAZ, xngb2 and more

YNG JOE$, a rapper based in Tokai City, Aichi Prefecture, surprise released his new EP “concrete catenaccio” on Sunday, April 21st.

The title comes from the Latin word “concretus” (=grown), which refers to concrete that hardens and becomes stronger over time, and “catenaccio”, which means solid defense and quick attack.From solid defense to attack. A combination of coined words that express large, momentary movements. It is said that this work expresses the feeling of moving time that has stopped once again, and of continuing to move forward.

Guest performers include CROWN-D from Tokai Ghoul, and producers include xngb2, Lasgram, ISAZ, and GOLD MU, who have previously collaborated on the project. Recording/mixing/mastering was done by AKILLY and Dayzero, artwork was shot/edited by yuppi, and Nagoya-based brand RELAX ORIGINAL provided the costumes.
