Half Mile Beach Club to release new album in August, first in 5 years

Half Mile Beach Club has announced that they will release their new album, “Days of the Ocean Waves,” on Friday, August 2nd.

With the release of their single “Vibrant Sun” (2022), produced by Saito “JxJx” Jun, Half Mile Beach Club has evolved their style to a more dance music-focused instrumental style, exploring Balearic sounds.

This is their second album overall, and their first in five years, but it was produced over several years with the goal of “making their first album again as an instrumental band.” This album continues to feature Jun Saito “JxJx” (YOUR SONG IS GOOD) as producer, and Izumi Matsui (YOUR SONG IS GOOD) as guest percussionist, and the tropical percussion that is perfect for this summer has further enhanced the groove of the songs.

In addition, the album’s pre-release single “Turquoise Route” was released today, June 21st (Friday). With a laid-back groove, it’s a perfect summer tune for early summer.
