bird releases all-time "re-edit" best album to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his major debut

It has been announced that bird will release their all-time “re-edited” best album “25th anniv. re-edit best + SOULS 2024” on Wednesday, September 18th.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of bird’s debut single “SOULS” released in 1999. This work, which will be released as the first part of the 25th anniversary project, features re-edits of all the songs, making it a completely different work from the best albums released in the past.

Of the 21 songs, one will be newly recorded, and the debut song “SOULS (Main)” produced by Shinichi Osawa will be reborn as “SOULS 2024 Shinichi Osawa ver.” Bird’s vocals will also be newly recorded. “SOULS” will be the opening and closing songs of the re-edited best. In addition, the smash hit summer anthem, MONDO GROSSO’s “LIFE feat. bird” will also be included in the re-edit.

The other songs on the album have been adjusted to fit the current sound, while also being fully compatible with the current 2020s trend of short songs, making it a fresh best album. Why not look back on Bird’s 25 years with the 12-inch analog single “bird ep” released on Wednesday, June 19th?
