It has been announced that Rikon Densetsu will release their new single “Today’s Recommendation” on Friday, July 5th.
When they held their first solo concert at Zepp Shinjuku (TOKYO) in March this year, they made a surprise announcement that they would be making their major debut with Sony Music Labels’ Ariola Japan, and that their new song “Today’s Recommendation” would be the ending theme for the TV anime “Ramen Akaneko.” The song was aired for the first time in full on June 24th (Mon) in their regular corner “SONAR’S ROOM” on J-WAVE (81.3fm) “SONAR MUSIC,” which airs every Monday.
The band is involved in the ending of the anime adaptation of “Ramen Akaneko,” a manga currently being serialized in Shueisha’s “Shonen Jump+,” which the band members are also fans of. The song was written to “convey the appeal of the anime even more,” and is said to be a nostalgic, warm, and legendary divorce song. Fumihiro Ibuki (Dr.), Manabu Chigasaki (Ba.), and Daiki Chiba (Key. / Kroi) participated in the recording.
The first solo tour “Nagisa no Rendezvous” will begin on Friday, July 12th, and all four shows, including additional shows in addition to the Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka shows, were immediately sold out. Rikon Densetsu has also announced numerous appearances at festivals and large events across the country from spring to summer. We’d like to keep an eye on their future activities.
