TuneCore Japan collaborates with SXSW to hold auditions for next year’s appearance

TuneCore Japan is collaborating with SXSW, the world’s largest multi-media festival, to hold auditions for a spot at next year’s SXSW 2025 Music Festival.

TuneCore Japan, which is working to create a society where it is normal for people all over the world to hear music by Japanese artists in their daily lives, supports the goals of creative people, discovers and nurtures diverse talent, and promotes innovation with an emphasis on community. This led to the decision to support and collaborate with SXSW 2025.

As part of this initiative, they are holding auditions to perform at SXSW, a stage that is a great opportunity for artists who want to scale their activities to the world. In the past, SXSW has seen a number of distinguished artists, including CHAI, Tohji, yahyel, and Kroi, perform on its stage. Through this stage, which will be a major stepping stone for artists to expand into the world, they hope to once again connect Japanese artists with the global music scene.

In addition, if you apply through the special audition page for this performance, the entry fee that is normally charged when applying will be free (other costs for the performance will be charged separately). For more details, please check the special audition page below.
