kZm releases new song "STAR" from their 3rd album in August and music video

kZm released his new single “STAR” today, Wednesday, June 26th. The music video was also released.

kZm is a rapper/artist belonging to YENTOWN, and continues to embody alternative expressions beyond the boundaries of genres, such as his activities with his own collective/label De-void*. This is the fourth pre-release single from his third album, scheduled for release in August. The song expresses the sense of crisis he feels in the hip-hop scene these days, and is said to be a work filled with his strong desire to reconstruct hip-hop culture, which has become too widespread and diluted, and to elevate it into something more shining (=STAR). The cover artwork was created by contemporary artist GILLOCHINDOX☆GILLOCHINDAE.

The music video was directed by Ryo Suda, who also directed “U Are My Paradise” released at the end of last year. The video faithfully reproduces the worldview of the song and expresses a kind of antithesis to the current situation where the accelerating rate of consumption makes it difficult to say that something is truly good.

In addition, kZm will hold a solo concert at Zepp DiverCity in Tokyo on Friday, September 6th. Tickets are available from 6pm today.Second lottery ticket applicationhas started.
